The section of the Great Wall in Beijing
& Hebei is the most popular places
to go. The Wall ranks first in China for its cultural deposition
and the importance on military. It offers the longest and best-preserved
sections. During more than 2000 km of the formidable structure
in Beijing & Hebei,
you can also find some historic sites of it built in Qin Dynasty
(221-206BC) and North Qi Dynasty (550-577BC). 
North
9 days Route (Beijing-Chengde-Qinhuangdao-Beijing)
Qinhuangdao
4 days Route (Beijing-Qinhuangdao-Beijing)
South
9 days Route(Qinhuangdao-Tangshan-Tinajin-Beijing)
North Route is a leisurely one. Covering a 3-day
trekking long the Wall in Qinhuangdao, it will have a 2-day-break
in Chengde, a city famous for the Mountain Resort and Outlying
Temples. Well-known sections as Simatai, Jinshanling and Mutianyu
finish the North Route. South Route, a
challenging one, begins at Old Dragon Head where the Great Wall
meets the sea in the east. Then transfer to the Eastern Qing Tombs
in Tangshan following a moderate task at Huangyaguan (a famous
pass) in Tianjin. Final attractions are Great Wall of Simatai.
Jinshanling and Mutianyu, Beijing nearby. Qinhuangdao
Route
serves as the most different one. It is an absolute issue just
for the Great Wall. Three types and particular phenomenon of the
Wall can be enjoyed there. In addition, some of the sections are
commonly considered as a combination of the Great Wall with the
magnificent landscape.
